KEY TAKEAWAYS: Sentinels are one of the favourites to win the America League Stage 1, considering their recent win at Masters Madrid. If you are interested in VCT betting, here is your guide to VCT 2024: How does the VCT 2024 Stage 1 series work? VCT 2024 Stage 1 is the first major tournament cycle in Valorant's year-long Champions Tour. It will generally run from April 5 to May 12 with eleven teams from each region. There are two stages, these are: Group stage: Through a random draw, teams are divided into groups: Alpha and Omega in a single round-robin format. Matches are best-of-three (Bo3), meaning the first team to win two maps wins the match. The top teams from each group advance. Playoffs: The second stage is a double-elimination bracket. Winners move on to the upper bracket, while losers go to the lower bracket. A loss in the lower bracket eliminates the team. Matches here can be Bo3 or best-of-five (Bo5) depending on the stage. The winner of Stage 1 earns a spot in the next major international Valorant tournament, Masters Shanghai. They also get a huge amount of points that contribute to their overall Champions Tour ranking. Championship points Earning points is an important part of the VCT. Teams have the chance to earn them throughout Regional and Masters matches. Here is how points are awarded based on the system of the tournament: One point for each match won during Stage 1 & Stage 2 Regular Season One point for each match won or earned during Mid-Season and Season Playoffs Three points for winning Kickoffs Three points for winning Mid-Season Playoffs Three points for winning Masters Madrid Three points for winning Masters Shanghai Bet on esports matches at Gamdom here Americas League The Americas League features some of the frontrunners of the VCT 2024.
