If you watch pro CSGO matches, you might be familiar with this kind of model because this is how the pros play their events. They have the map veto period which is one of the most important aspects of the pro scene. There are a lot of teams that specialize in one map and this veto process is the key to them getting it.
With this recent change for the regular players, this will be massive because they are now in a similar position as the pro players. This is important because having this kind of change will help the players improve their map pool. There are players who play exclusively on their favourite maps like de_dust2 and de_overpass. However, with this mode change, they are now forced to widen their map pool.

It is a hard map that needs to be practiced first because the placements of the bomb sites are tricky.
Weapon Stats
Choosing the best weapon is pretty hard for a regular player. If pro players will speak about this topic, there are only three primary weapons that they recommend these days. There were times that the SG 553 and the AUG became top weapons. However, they were nerfed which meant that it was back to normal with the M4A4/M4A1-S and AK-47 meta. Alongside these two weapons, the AWP is a mainstay because of its power and functionality.

Each week during the Broken Fang period, you will have some missions that you can partake in. You will earn some stars as you progress with these missions. There are a lot of rewards that you can get including new character models or Agents. You can get a plethora of cosmetics ranging from weapon skins to character models or better known as Agents.
