UFC White House: Fight Card Predictions & Key Details

UFC White House: Fight Card Predictions & Key Details

Get ready for Trump’s 80th birthday party! Check out our predictions for the UFC White House fight card: Conor McGregor, Jon Jones, and others.

White House UFC Fight Card Predictions: Who’s Going to Fight on Trump’s 80th B-Day?

The UFC is heading to the White House in 2026 to celebrate America’s 250th birthday, as well as Donald Trump’s 80th.

Key Takeaways

  • Dana White has vowed to set up the greatest fight card in the history of MMA.
  • Conor McGregor is demanding a $100 million paycheck to unretire.
  • Jon Jones has teased a fight with Alex Pereira.

Set to unfold on the South Lawn, this could be the greatest show the fight world has ever seen. Or, just maybe, it’ll go down as the strangest thing to happen at the White House since Mary Lincoln tried to summon her husband’s ghost.

Even though we’re months away from the event, MMA fans are already asking big questions about the UFC White House fight card: Will Conor McGregor join the party? Will MAGA favourite Colby Covington steal the show? Will Dems have their own fighter?

So many questions, but no one seems to have the answers, not even President Trump. This, though, won’t stop us from sharing some White House fight card predictions.

What we currently know about UFC's White House card

  • When: Sunday, June 14, 2026
  • Where: The White House South Lawn in Washington, D.C.
  • Why: To celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence
  • How to Watch: Pay-per-view (PPV)

It’s official: UFC White House is happening on June 14, 2026. Both President Donald Trump and UFC CEO Dana White have confirmed the plans, calling it a done deal.

The event is set for June 14, which happens to be Trump’s birthday. Officially, though, it’s not about celebrating the President turning 80. Instead, it’s about America’s 250th anniversary.

Weigh-ins are expected to take place at the Lincoln Memorial, while the UFC media event could be held in the Oval Office. Fighters will reportedly warm up inside the White House itself, while the National Mall is set to host fan events in the days leading up to fight night.

The fighting itself is meant to go down inside an Octagon erected on the White House Lawn.

Early renderings show a full-size Octagon, with space for 5,000 to 25,000 fans. Massive outdoor screens in nearby parks will let another 85,000 spectators watch the action live.

So, we’re looking at around 100,000 fans just in Washington D.C., with millions expected to watch it worldwide via pay-per-view.

Dana White has vowed that the UFC White House lineup will be the greatest fight card ever assembled, and he might not be exaggerating.

One thing’s for sure: this will be the biggest sporting event ever held on the South Lawn. Then again, the competition isn’t exactly fierce. The last “athletic” moment here was back in the George H. W. Bush days, when he tossed horseshoes with Queen Elizabeth.

But if Mr. White keeps his word, this could be the biggest mixed martial arts event since Emperor Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix in Gladiator) fought an ostrich at the Colosseum.

No ostriches should enter the White House Octagon, though. Instead, elite UFC fighters are expected to go to war on the South Lawn, although nothing’s been confirmed yet.

The fight card is still in the works, but we do have some predictions in mind. The first one? Conor returns.

Conor McGregor willing to unretire (for $100M)

If there’s one man who fits the spectacle of UFC White House, it's Conor McGregor.

The Irishman remains the company’s biggest draw: his fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov still holds the all-time record with 2.4 million PPV buys.

Plus, he’s a huge Trump fan. At one point, the two nearly became colleagues. The Notorious flirted with a 2025 Irish presidential run before deciding it’s best to pull out of the race.

While it’s true that he loves Trump, Conor also loves money. Although he’s already one of the richest athletes on Earth, he demands more: his condition for returning is a $100 million paycheck.

Judging by the fact he’s already re-entered the UFC’s drug testing pool, he seems confident Dana and company will deliver.

If the deal goes through, Conor's likely to face Michael Chandler, his old foe from The Ultimate Fighter. The two were meant to settle their feud in 2024, but a broken toe derailed it, which ultimately led to Conor’s retirement.

Jon Jones coming back in June 2026?

McGregor isn’t the only UFC legend who might unretire to put on a show for Trump. Jon Jones might do the same. Widely considered the GOAT of MMA, Jones retired in 2025 while still holding the UFC Heavyweight Championship.

But it’s the Light Heavyweight division where he built his legacy, with some of his biggest achievements including the following:

  • Most successful title defenses (11)
  • Most finishes in UFC Light Heavyweight title fights (6)
  • Youngest champion in the history of UFC (23 years, 243 days)
  • Most consecutive wins in the division (13)

He walked away with a record of 28 wins, one no contest, and one loss. The no-contest was originally a win for Jones against Daniel Cormier, but it was later revised after he tested positive for a banned substance.

The loss? It was by disqualification after he used an illegal move. But even the guy who beat him (Matt Hamill) agrees it was unfair.

Instead of putting his near-perfect legacy on the line, Jon Jones might use this historic event to rewrite history. What we’re talking about is that Dana White could symbolically erase the only loss from Jones’ record.

Still, based on what “Bones” said himself, he’ll be there on the South Lawn, but who will he fight? Right now, though, all signs point to one name: Alex Pereira.

The reigning king of the Light Heavyweight division has been teasing a move to 265 pounds for quite some time, and Jones would be his dream opponent.

As it turns out, the feeling is mutual: Jones recently posted on X that he’d love to face “Poatan” at the White House event.

Nate Diaz to squash beef with Dana White

Nate Diaz recently said his relationship with White is “good,” though calling them friends might be stretching it. Their long-running feud has been well documented, with reports of a nightclub scuffle floating around.

But if anyone could get the two to shake hands, it’s Trump. After all, he proudly calls himself the Peace President, claiming to have stopped seven wars.

Squashing the beef between Diaz and White probably won’t win him a Nobel Peace Prize, but it would add to the spectacle at the White House.

Add McGregor into the mix (another longtime Diaz rival), and you’ve got the perfect setup for Trump to broker two peace deals in one night.

Miesha Tate to fight Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm, or whoever

The UFC White House card will almost certainly feature at least a couple of women’s fights. Fans on social media are already buzzing about one potential matchup: the long-awaited trilogy between Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey.

We think Tate is a realistic pick. She’s a longtime Trump supporter and political conservative who’s still active in MMA, having last fought in 2025.

Rousey, on the other hand, hasn’t stepped inside the Octagon since 2016. Coincidentally, it’s the same year she publicly endorsed Democrat Bernie Sanders. Recently, she stated she has no plans to attend the White House event. Still, she’s only in her 30s, and as fight fans know, money has a way of changing minds.

She might refuse to fight, but Tate won’t do such a thing. In fact, we think she’d agree to fight almost anyone as long as it’s taking place on the South Lawn.

If Rousey doesn’t change her mind, we could see Tate fight Amanda Nunes. She’s a two-time Women’s Bantamweight champion who remains one of the most popular MMA fighters in the world.

Another possible candidate to fight Tate is Julianna Peña. The two have so much in common: they’re both former champs, and they’re both huge Trump fans.

Will Democrats have their own representative?

Khalil Rountree is said to be the only registered Democrat ever to have fought for a UFC title, at least according to Reddit.

There’s no verified proof that he’s publicly confirmed it, though. Still, the rumour alone makes him stand out in a sport dominated by GOP voters.

Other fighters who’ve leaned toward the blue section of the US political spectrum include  Kevin Lee and Chris Curtis.

Lee initially supported Bernie Sanders, though he later suggested his loyalty had shifted to Trump. Meanwhile, Curtis posted on X about voting for Kamala Harris, but after receiving a barrage of negative comments, he deleted his account.

Francis Ngannou also (in)famously took a swipe at Trump, calling him “the shame of America,” though he isn’t a registered US voter.

On the other side, the list of Republican fighters is far, far longer, but no one wears their MAGA hat as proudly as Colby Covington.

Donald Trump’s (second) most favourite fighter, Colby Covington

From wearing Trump-themed gold chains to actually meeting Trump in the White House, Colby Covington is arguably the most MAGA fighter on the UFC roster.

He loves Trump, and Trump loves him. In fact, the US leader once labelled “Chaos” as his favourite fighter, even getting him to Mar-a-Lago on Election Night.

But he’s apparently changed his mind since. In a recent interview, the incumbent President answered Khabib Nurmagomedov when asked about his favourite martial artist.

Covington believes this was a politically motivated answer, suggesting that Trump is trying to smooth things over with Russia by praising its athletes.

Many MMA fans, however, think it’s got to do with the fact that Colby hasn’t won a fight in almost four years. Plus, he suffered back-to-back losses in his last two UFC fights.

But he could get back on the winning track in the UFC event at the White House, especially if UFC CEO Dana White grants his wish to fight Paddy Pimblett or Gilbert Burns.

Betting on fight night at White House

UFC White House 2026 could be the wildest sports event ever, celebrating two birthdays: America’s 250th and Trump’s 80th.

Set to feature UFC legends like Conor McGregor and Jon Jones, this event is shaping up to be a spectacle only Donald Trump could host.

Voters, though, aren’t all amused, with many thinking it disrespects the office. If you believe it’ll hurt the GOP in the upcoming election, betting on politics might be the smart move.

When the markets open, you can be sure the best odds for political betting will be on Gamdom. You’ll find them in the Specials section: just look under Politics.

America’s Wildest Birthday Party Ever

Whether you like the idea of MMA fighters bashing one another at White House, this is going to be the greatest crossover between sports and politics in history.

Not only will it take place on sacred grounds, but the event could feature some of the GOATs of the sport. From Conor McGregor’s potential $100 million comeback to Jon Jones’ showdown with Alex Pereira, it’s already pure theatre.

But regardless of whether Dana White manages to assemble the greatest fight card of all time or fails miserably, one thing’s certain: all eyes (and bets) will be on the White House.
