Omicron coin starts to rise amidst pandemic

While there is a new COVID-19 variant on the prowl, there is also a new coin on the rise. Omicron, the namesake of the new variant, is starting to make its way to the upper ranks of the crypto market with 2021 nearing its end.

The Bitcoin price may have lost more than 5% in a matter of hours as it continues to take a decline from an all-time high. It has been some time since Bitcoin is on a technical bear market that wiped billions of dollars from the combined crypto market capital.

The price of a crypto known as Omicron is suddenly on the move. It has added around 500% in the days since the new COVID variant came. That is a huge rise considering the fact that there was also a sudden rise and fall of a scam Squid Game coin last month that affected almost every Bitcoin casino.

The bubble crypto market means that it can even grow larger than most coins known today. There are broken records, huge gains and losses which are seen by a lot of people in the industry even by those who play casino esports.

The news of a new variant coming out of South Africa led to a sell-off across assets of many classes. This will lead to helicopter money and that can benefit digital assets, namely Omicron.

In just a short span, Omicron has soared from around $50 to almost $400 as per CoinGecko’s data tracker. Omicron is just one of many coins that are finding its way to the market. It was built on Ethereum’s scaling tech Arbitrum and is not even a month old. That shows a trend for rising crypto in 2021.
