Legendary boxer Mike Tyson is interested in cryptocurrencies

Mike Tyson is one of the best heavyweight boxers of all time. Amazingly, he has become active in the crypto space especially with the Solana cryptocurrency. This is a big deal for the crypto market because Tyson is a huge personality.

Back in June 2021, ‘Iron Mike’ talked to his Twitter followers about the right cryptocurrency that they should invest in. This was massive news because Tyson is not only a prime sportsman but he is also a pop culture icon. That matters because he will draw more people to the crypto world which helps its growth even more.

When you look at any cryptocurrency, you can see its promise to become one of the best assets in the world. Just look at Bitcoin and its growth over the years. It has led to projects like bitcoin casino games which has strengthened the online gambling scene as well. With stars like Tyson showing support for the crypto world, you can expect that it will persist.

Before his entry to Solana, Tyson has shown interest in other crypto coins like Bitcoin or Ether. At the end of the day, Tyson kept choosing between Ether and Solana and the latter won.

The cryptocurrency space is not the only part of the market that Tyson is interested in. He has also dived into non-fungible tokens as a primary asset. That is also huge for that side of the market since there are so many options with NFTs.

Tyson said, ‘Ever since I got into NFTs I have been looking for crypto partnerships and DREAM really stood out. It’s the first of its kind that can only be traded during US stock market hours. Could revolutionize the space and help the mental health of the crypto community’.

It is great to see a figure as larger than life as Tyson showing support for any cryptocurrency he likes. It has reached the mainstream and it will only keep growing. Hopefully, more people can ride the crypto market wave because it’s not stopping anytime soon.

Solana is a huge asset in the market valued at around $47 billion. This is huge for the rest of the crypto market because it will keep thriving as time goes on. If stars like Tyson keep supporting, you should expect that people will keep strongly backing this project.

Tyson himself is looking to learn more lessons about the crypto market and if he is showing the willingness to do so, you should see that more people will follow. It will be a good time for the crypto market when big stars from the sports world or even Hollywood use their influence by encouraging other people to invest in cryptocurrency.
