As one of the most successful CEOs of the modern era, Jack Dorsey’s opinion matters in any industry. He believes that Bitcoin is the world’s primary mode of payment. As a former Twitter executive, Jack should have a good understanding of how the future of technology will work out.
During his time with Twitter, Jack was a large proponent of decentralized projects. In November 2021, he decided to leave Twitter so he can focus on fintech firm Block that has helped develop programs like CashApp, Tidal, and many more.
It’s not surprising that he named his firm Block because he believes in blockchain technology’s growth. He believes that BTC will be bigger than the United States dollar sometime in the future. This stems from a short interaction he had with rapper Cardi B on Twitter when he answered her query about BTC’s potential to beat the US dollar.
