Team Vitality
Crowned champions of the prestigious BLAST Paris Major 2023, Team Vitality enters 2024 as one of the Counter-Strike betting odds favourites. Looking to dominate the scene once again, their victory was no coincidence as the team showcased their talent and skill as a team during the tournament. The match ended with 2-0 against GamerLegion.
At the heart of the team is Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut who dominated the battlefield with his top-notch strategies. Behind him are Dan ‘apEX’ Madesclaire and Lotan ‘Spinx’ Giladi who were rifle powerhouses of the team. There is also Peter ‘dupreeh’ Rothmann and Emil ‘Magisk’ Reif who showed their prowess in utility usage and map rotation.
Although there were changes made to the roster, Team Vitality still has their eyes set on defending the Major title. Keep an eye out as ZywOo brings his shocking clutches. In 2024, Team Vitality are the favourites to win so you won’t want to miss them in action.
FaZe Clan
FaZe Clan is storming into 2024 ready to reclaim the Counter-Strike throne after their PGL Major win back in 2022. The team has a star-studded roster which makes anything possible, even another Major win.
Leading the team is Finn ‘karrigan’ Andersen who is known for his solid offensive strategies. You can also expect complete map domination with Håvard ‘rain’ Nygaard’s fragging prowess and Helvijs ‘broky’ Saukants AWPing abilities. The team also has Robin ‘ropz’ Kool who brings the whole team together with his amazing utility usage and gun mastery.
This winning formula remains untouched in 2024. The core four are locked in, hungrier than ever to grab another Major win for the team. Their synergy on maps like Inferno and Nuke is a sight to be seen, leaving opponents scrambling for answers. With their unparalleled talent and passionate fanbase, they're set to rewrite Counter-Strike history in 2024 so keep an eye on this top squad.
G2 Esports
G2 Esports is another high-ranking team to look out for in 2024. Although they weren’t able to grab the win at the Paris Major, their recent wins at the BLAST Premier and IEM Katowice prove that they are another team to beat in the upcoming CS tournaments.
Their roster features some of the most renowned players in the scene. They have Nikola ‘NiKo’ Kovač behind the AWP and Nemanja ‘huNter-’ Kovač with his strategic rotations and utility usage. Also, expect to see Ilya ‘m0NESY’ Osipov, an 18-year-old prodigy who proves that age is just a number in the Counter-Strike scene.
G2's strength lies in its adaptability. They pivot from full-force offence to strategic movements. Dust2 is their playground, where NiKo's AWP is the most dominant and Inferno witnesses their calculated map takeovers. With this, don't expect G2 to settle for anything less than gold in 2024.
NAVI
In 2024, Natus Vincere (NAVI) remains one of the most formidable Counter-Strike teams to watch out for. Their previous success can largely be attributed to the exceptional talents of star players Oleksandr ‘s1mple’ Kostyljev and Valerii ‘b1t’ Vakhovskyi who have consistently led the team to impressive accomplishments.
Unfortunately, s1mple has been moved to the inactive roster with Ihor ‘w0nderful’ Zhdanov replacing him. Nonetheless, fans can still expect to see the team flourish this year with both w0nderful and b1t at the helm of the team. The team also features the likes of Aleksi ‘Aleksib’ Virolainen and Justinas ‘ jL’ Lekavicius who have amazing fragging capabilities.
Looking ahead to 2024, NAVI's current roster will undoubtedly have a significant impact on its performance. Will the team be able to keep up without the presence of s1mple? Make sure to watch the team in the upcoming tournaments and see if they will continue to dominate the CS esports scene.
